OUR BEGINNINGS
Oak Park UMC was started by families in the area that wanted to have a faith-presence in the Oak Park area. The first service was held on December 10, 1960. We will celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2010. We want this to be a year long celebration. Oklahoma Annual Conference bishop, Bishop Robert Hayes, will preach at our September 12, 2010 worship service.
